Welcome to my blog Being Asha dot Com. I was thinking of starting a blog since a long time where I can just write about anything not just related to my websites which I own, but more of technical and SEO related stuffs, my hobbies, things which I like and love to do.. be it photography, gardening, designing, arts and crafts… the list goes on…
I have been maintaining many site specific blogs so far. My first blog was on blogger.com and there I maintained all the updates of my site.Gradually I learned more about blogging and that is when I realized that many people use wordpress for the same. I was not aware that you can host wordpress on your sites, so I ended up registering on wordpress.com and just to point the blog to my own server, I paid 10 USD as well. But again after hosting the blog, I saw that I was not able to do any edits on the blog ie how I realized and found the ready wordpress software at wordpress.org, which you can host on your own domain and ie how my journey into blogging started.
Now I have literally pushed many people into this blogging(business). I have been recommending wordpress to my family, firends, clients, partners… just to everyoone. I moved my son’s website from a normal ASP based site to wordpress blog. Maintaining and editing the site now becomes so much easier for me. I started my own wordpress based site. So now I am all for blogging and that’s how I finally decided to have my own blog.
I was thinking of many domain names but finally I zeroed in on Being Asha dot Com .This blog is all about me, Being Asha, being a mother, a wife, a daughter, a sister,a daughter-in-law and being a software professional and above all being a project manager and managing a software company.
