Happy Diwali 2011
Hi Friends,
Writing this post after a long gap. Today is Dhanteras, and just two days after, it is DIWALI. Diwali – the festival of lights, celebration of victory of good over evil, celebration of brotherhood, friendship, harmony, togetherness…
Time of the year to eat and indulge in lots of sweets. Time for diays, décor, rangoli, lanterns, gifts, greeting cards, shopping… and the list goes on.
This year is special as our one year old loves lights and diyas. Also this year I have enjoyed doing some crafty stuff and tried to reuse and recycle, so I have used old jars, used cups, plates etc. and turned into lovely diwali décor items.

Wishing you all a fun filled, happy and safe Diwali!!
India wins World Cup 2011

If you have been following my blog, you must have read about the much hyped semi final match between India and Pakistan. And as all the Indians wanted, wished and prayed, India won the game and played the finals against Sri Lanka in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and opted to bat first. Sri Lanka made 274 runs and it was a good score for them and a difficult score to chase for India.
When India’s batting started, Sehwag and Sachin were out in the first few overs and we all had almost lost hope about winning the match. However a good batting from Gambhir and then from the Captain Dhoni, it was a clear victory and what a match it was. The celebrations is still going on.
This is just April and Diwali is still months away, however India has already witnessed two Diwalis last week. First it was the Pakistan victory to reach the world cup finals and then the final World Cup victory. It was a good sight to see Sachin Tendulkar crying with joy!
This is just the start and now the Indian team is full of confidence and Indians can look forward to many such world cups in the future!

Happy New Year!
Well, it is still January and I have the liberty of saying Happy New Year atleast till the month ends. I am sorry for not posting here. New year is a time when we allmake resolutions however we hardly follow our resolutions. So this year, I have not made any resolutions, however I just want to organize myself, organzie my schedules and above all, I plan to do what I enjoy.
And these days I am enjoying the company of all the smart moms on Rocketmoms, so I left behind all my online tasks, my websites(which are all yelling at me for an UPDATE) and my blogs. The company of Rocketmom is great. I have created two lenses for the Session 12 Challenge and both the lenses are awesome. I mean, I am so happy with them and also people have loved them.

Welcome to a new look
. You must be seeing the change in my blog template. This no more just a site for exploring dot com… rather, this blog will now be a mix of many things, things that I love, things which I like and things which I enjoy… moments to cherish.. so I felt that I should change the look and the title. Well, I will be doing technical talks in between, but I wanted to take a break from all the technical talks, money making posts, affiliate reviews.
Let me know, how do you like the new look? I am sure the template will keep changing but at the moment, I am feeling good and lively and it shows on my theme…
P.S – the header photo is from shutterstock.com by vectorstock. i really love all the artwork by this particular user.
