Happy Diwali 2011
Hi Friends,
Writing this post after a long gap. Today is Dhanteras, and just two days after, it is DIWALI. Diwali – the festival of lights, celebration of victory of good over evil, celebration of brotherhood, friendship, harmony, togetherness…
Time of the year to eat and indulge in lots of sweets. Time for diays, décor, rangoli, lanterns, gifts, greeting cards, shopping… and the list goes on.
This year is special as our one year old loves lights and diyas. Also this year I have enjoyed doing some crafty stuff and tried to reuse and recycle, so I have used old jars, used cups, plates etc. and turned into lovely diwali décor items.

Wishing you all a fun filled, happy and safe Diwali!!
Nature Photography
…. I am learning these days! Infact I love photography and planning to soon upgrade to a Digital SLR. Still doing research on the best one for my requirement and which fits in my budget
Enjoy this lovely photographs of nature. It was taken around Panshet lake in the Panshet Area, which is located on the outskirts of Pune. A lovely weekend gateaway.
www.kidsandbibs.in launched!
Finally, the much awaited site just for Indian babies is launched. Yes, I was getting so many emails from our indian visitors, who were keen to have a baby photo contest and parenting related site just for the Indian babies and Indian parents. The main issue was also the sponsors not willing to ship outside say US or UK and the shipping cost to india becomes quite expensive. So now, I am looking for some indian sponsors who can sponsor the contest and donate prizes to our lovely winners. Since Diwali is around the corner and it is festive season throughout India, our theme for the free contest is DIWALI THEME. So all you indian parents, take out your cameras, capture those lovely shots and send it to us. I am sure you will love to hsare those lovely shots with us and you will surely enjoy to look at other cuties. I will be doing the site on a page by page basis, as I go along, with feedback from parents and also as per the time I get, but I am sure, it’s going to be fun and exciting!!
With the internet penetrating to most part of the country, we are seeing lots of young parents who are very active on the internet, blogging, reading, sharing and gaining knowledge. So I hope to build a good website just for the Indian parents and I am sure it will be a success, just the way my other site is.
So what are you waiting for, spread the word around. Tell your friends to visit the site at http://www.kidsandbibs.in
