I love my garden

This is the best time of the year for the plants in my balcony garden. I wish I had a huge open space to fulfill my dream of gardening. But that is still a dream and I am working on to fulfill my dream. Most of the flowers in my garden bloom during this time of the season.

The best one is the night blooming cereus. I remember getting one leaf from a friend of mine when I was doing my post graduation. The leaf turned into a nice lovely plant and we have been generously giving the leaves to all our dear and near ones, who ask for it.After getting married, I also took a leaf along and now I have a big huge plant of this night blooming cereus. Every year we when it blooms, we click photos. I have photos of my son clicked every time this flower blooms in the garden.

    Hey asha,it seems u have maintained really a beautiful balcony garden..hey thats really cool. the flowers look so beautiful.
    Ealrier i had an inclination towards gardening and hqad maintained few plants but since we were into tranferable job hence cud not maintain them. After coming to hyd i did not set up one.

    envy you and also admire your passion. I don’t have that much space in my rented accomodation to have a garden. I just hav 2 or three pots where I have planted some non-flowering plants.

    @Kavita,nice to see your comment. Well I love gardening and for me the best place to relax and unwind is a garden. Whenever i visit a new city, i first check out the botanical gardens around.

    Now I am eagerly waiting for the passion flower to bloom.

    @Arunima, yes gardening is a great stress buster for me. Every morning I start my day looking at the plants and the new buds. My DH jokes that the flower will be scared to bloom as I keep checking it so often. Will post more photos of my balcony garden someday and you will know how I have managed ;)
